Title: EVRi - SCAM
Post by: Wittsend on Apr 15, 2024, 03:45 PM
Whilst we/I am on about scams, this EVRi email just landed  :ranting

It doesn't help that their delivery drivers don't know one end of our village from the other or can read English or understand postcodes. I have a nice gallery of packages on front doorsteps, sadly not mine  :thud

Again - at 1st glance the email seems plausible.
I buy a lot of stuff off the internet, Amazon, eBay and the like.
My "contract" is with the supplier, NOT the courier (or Royal Mail). It is with the supplier I have a conversation with. Fortunately things don't go wrong that often.
Neighbours around us are quite good and we sort mis-delivered parcels out amongst ourselves.

If they spent a few moments correcting the grammar it would be slightly more believable!

The poor grammar is intentional. The kind of people that are likely to miss it are those who are more likely to be taken advantage of.
