Hi all, I have a late 1961 2 (crossing over to the 2a). I've tried 2 different belts and all don't fit. The belt has V4919 on it. Is there an equivalent size? I can't find how to decipher that number to get one the same as was on it

I've ordered one based on the rough ID of approx 880mm we'll see how it goes.

Would still love to know what that number means for future reference

Normal convention is that the number refers to the circumference in mm. along with a manufacturers code.

Typically for a 2ΒΌ engine the belt is 1075 mm or 1050 mm depending on what pulleys you have.

... which gives:-

You may just be able to see the markings on the belts.
