Correct Rear Step

To answer other questions, the step in the photo above was made by Marslands for a very short while.

The step fitted to my SI 107" Station Wagon was especially made by someone on the LRSOC forum, many years ago.

I believe it to be slightly more correct, in that it has countersunk rivets securing the aluminium retainers, rather than dome rivets.

The 15" rear step was carried over from SI to very early SII Station Wagons.
The step was then reduced to 11" to match the newly introduced, but similar, side steps.

These were an extra cost option.

With the introduction of the 12 seater IIA, half-moon steps for side and rear were fitted as standard (and the Station Wagon badge dropped).
