Yes it may well be an early 2A, but factory V8 probably at least 5 years before Rover even got their hands on the V8...

The paint is painty and like the paint of a vvvgreally old painted Land Rover and is blue. Blue paint. The roof is white. Off-white with a threat of cream, perhaps a light dusting of old English white. There's a little dent on the front left wing (UK) Fender (USA) caused by a lady hurling herself at me last week in an attempt to get my phone number, this happens quite often when you drive this ruggedly handsome mobile command unit, so just be aware. Men also try to wave me down on the regular, this truly is a universal/unisex vehicle.

Both are equally silly but at least the American advert is a deliberate attempt at humour rather than a deliberate attempt to con someone out of twice the going rate for a bitsa (maybe being generous at only twice)

Land rovers, let's face are owned by a broad church. We really should permit ourselves a smidgen of mirth. I'm sure we've all seen the truly inspired stuff, I know I have.

Find an amusing or iffy eBay description, and your money is safe if you bet it's a LR. It's a trusim, we can dine-out on. Along with perhaps Beetles, Minis and Jap 4x4, our beloved marque is tops for this kind of thing.

Many are simply hilarious.

I think it's a fair listing, not one for outrage?  Few would be fooled. The seller troubles to place the right flags. You'd not need to be aware of the precise detail to a Series LR to be on alert. I like it, loud and very clear, the seller gives proper and fair-warning. Many don't.

Anyone ready with actual money, can either..  see what it is - or can't, and will want it anyway.

I wonder how ev conversions like this retain that MOT and Tax exemption that this one claims to have. Surely not enough points for historic status? Mind you the colour would put me off!

Tax exemption I can understand as not only is it historic but it's electric, I believe electric cars still get free road tax?

It should be MOT exempt though as it's extensively modified. You could probably drive it around for years with no MOT and no one would ask but as soon as you need to make an insurance claim, it would be a very easy get out for the insurance company.

No vehicle is tax exempt. Zero tax rated vehicles including historic still have to be taxed but it's free.
Vehicles in the Historic taxation class are exempt from MOT's. Electric vehicles will be taxed from either 1/4/24 or 25, not sure the exact date or whether it's retrospective.
