This project vehicle has been brough to my attention and is for sale.

Looks ex Military to my eyes. Early Series 2.

A new chassis & bulkhead are required. A good condition bulkhead and rad panel are offered with the purchase.

Looks like am ambitious project!

What do we think?  ???

Fibreglass roof is a bonus.  :flasher  :flasher  :flasher  :essen

I fail to see whats wrong with the original bulkhead... Its still got some paint on it and the steering wheel is still in the right position. Plenty of life left in it... Maybe the odd patch required here and there?

It does look military with a diesel conversion. Not much left of the engine by the look of it, so that would need to go back to petrol.

It doesn't look like a too horrendous project, but would be an expensive one to do. No plates suggests it may have fallen off DVLA's records, so finding out if its got a V5C would be the priority and significnatly affects the price.

That is a very odd roof on it. Maybe a fibreglass effort home made?

The roof seems to hinged at the rear, is it some form of camper?

That's a Santana roof isn't it?

Eye candy only.

Take the aluminium parts off, and you have little left worth saving.
There will not be much of the original vehicle remaining - after a considerable amount of money has been spent on "re-creating" it.

The value is in the V5C.

If it has one.
