Title: British Motor Museum
Post by: [email protected] on Apr 19, 2024, 04:54 PM
Back in early March I booked in my vehicle for the Gaydon Land Rover show, which was duly acknowledged and ticket sent.

Yesterday i was sent an invitation to book in for the Commercial vehicle show.

I copy the to applications below.

Why the difference?????   Land Rover show £10 per vehicle.   Commercial Vehicle show FREE???

Probably just market forces, guess it's harder to recruit the classic HGVs being fewer of them and they cost a bit more to get there. Same as steam shows provide fuel for the steam engines and some even provide transport (Dorset certainly did) whereas other categories tend to get free entry but no fuel or transport.

That said unless you in a station wagon then booking in as a commercial is fair game in my mind.

Of course, no surprise is it? If someone has something people want, it's not a buyer market.
