Just to confuse matters, a couple of the above postings contain duff info.
Please disregard, or you'll be confused at the very least.

Wow - you chaps really know your stuff!  Feeling a little overwhelmed with this as a newbie (not that I'm complaining!). Thanks to everyone for your help.  I hope I get the hang of this - feel like the new boy at school! Oh well ... 😂

Hello Adrian,

At the moment Yahoo is not accepting emails sent from our server so my emails to you this afternoon haven't made their way to you :(.  If you have another email account can you email [email protected] and I'll communicate to you that way, thanks.

Hi.

Just re-read my mail above. I got something wrong.

S2 could use 15/16"AF sockets S2a could use 1.1/16"AF sockets, and S3 needed 16M sockets.

I'm happy to be corrected.

Hi.

S3 wheel studs are splined, and pushed in from the the other side. They are 16M.

I believe S2A are also splined and pushed in from the side. They  are 9/16" BSF.

... my girls have arrived, and are demanding my presence. I will return shortly.

Thanks Wittsend and Chris
I noted some more Direct debit email arrive this morning.

Will give a few more days and let's see what happens.

@Wittsend, only one email in my Junk folder regarding the forum, and the sender was @Wittsend rather then serie2club.

Thanks for the information

maybe buried in a pit of cow muck for a while...

once went to my dads friends house, he said he had some old land rover springs in the back I could have, so off I went, he comes with a shovel and digs downwards, hits a spring and starts pulling.

probably the best pair of springs I've seen in ages actually, with new bushes of course! :RHD
