Does it identify as a Series 2?  :RHD

Will the same basic shape do? I could always photograph it from the rear and it does have a "Series 2A registration number."The front is obviously different.

If you can photograph it so the Series 3 features are not obvious  :confused
Last thing I want is a dome-headed rivet counter on my back ....

That said, PoM submissions are getting thin on the ground these days. I'll have to start putting snaps of my Ford Fiesta in to get the numbers up.

I'll give it a go when it's in a photogenic situation.

Hi Guys

I agree this is a great monthly contest we dont want it to disappear.
Its "Time" to start sending some photos in. Ill start the month of March off with this lovely miniature marine blue series 2a.

Sorry there is still just too much salt on the roads over here to take the real rovers out.

  Victor

On the way to the meet in Ynyswen today. Soft off-roading in the forestry. Fallen tree after this blocked progress so had to go back round the long way

Just to add something people may not know about.  Winning POM also become the website homepage image for the month.  Not quite having your name in lights but your photographic skills are shared with others (of course if you don't want it displayed then you can tell us so).

So, I searched 'March' on my iPhone photo gallery, and this one came up! March 2017 I did a few green lanes in North Yorkshire. The location on this pic is Fremington, so having fun in Fremington!

Correctomundo! Is a 105mm mortar box. They are generally painted but underneath they are galvo.

Available on evil bay in the UK for not a lot of money really

EBay link to an example on UK eBay. (https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/265016231606)

Yup... I have 2 or 3 of the wooden version, but have thought about getting a metal one for the same purpose, or a similar one.

If you're lucky you might find one for $40 here in the States.  Last time I saw one for sale at a junk shop they wanted $100.
