I know that Rover Group in the 1990s referred to fight light switches as "Fog Guard" switches, so there is a case for this. I've just gone through my Series 3 civilian parts catalogue and also my Lightweight Fiche and no sign of this part or part number.

Its got a PRC number for electrics which suggests a late Series 3 / early One Ten offering or possibly even Freight Rover?

Avon Ranger - the crossplies? Pretty sure they are ancient.

Not Avon Rangemaster?

General Discussion / Door check rods.
Last post by Boris60 - Today at 12:12 PM
Hi,
Can anyone tell me if I can replace the cranked door check rods fitted with an angled bracket for the straight rod that has the rubber stop on. I have the two bolt on pieces that house the stopper end of the rod.
If so does anyone supply the rods complete.

Thanks

The floor in my tub had the usual holes, I replaced it with a new floor from YRM. The old floor was cut up to make sections to repair holes in the seatboxes.

With our Series vehicles I assume we don't worry about tyre age here in the UK as our mileages and speeds are low . Therefore we rely on checking the tread depth and whether there are any cracks in the sidewalls?
I'm sure my BFG Mud Terrains are 20 years old, and look hardly used.
Cost of replacement is high - top brand tyres can be over £200 each. I've been checking for my 2010 Defender.

Apparently, what you get is a 10cm square "cloth" soaked in G3. Only really suitable for light laquer scratches. Save your money

Quote from: Richard on Today at 10:15 AMI've never tried it, I never knew it existed, but there's nano in it, so must be good :cool  The reviews on Amazon and Trustpilot don't augur well. I'd stick to some very light polishing compound and ElbowGrease.

I feel sure your right but it looks a great idea, but as said if it sounds too good to be true.................
