Title: Shed & Buried - Classic Cars
Post by: TimV on Mar 21, 2024, 08:09 PM
A new series on Quest (Freeview 12, Thursday at 9.00PM), in the trailer I think I saw a windscreen vent - and Henry is partial to Land Rovers. So maybe?

One to look out for, but tonight's beach buggy might be one to not get excited about.

I simply cannot abide Henry Cole. What on earth possesses people like Fuzz Townsend and Alan Milliard to spend any time in his company escapes me completely.*

* I suspect it's money.

I have listened to a couple of Henry's audio books, they are very good, an interesting life (not that he remembers most of his younger days).  You can see why he's like he his, very much living for today and doing what he likes doing and sod it if you don't like him.  Personally I find Alan very dull, an excellent engineer who I admire but as a TV presenter, it's not for him, he's not 'perfect' for the job.  Bring back Sam, that's what I say.
