Instagram certainly has its purpose and casts a wide net good or bad, there is a lot of junk but if you have various interests it can be useful.
It can introduce people to things or a new hobby that they only had a passing knowledge of.
Back in the day you flicked thru magazines at the newsagent of things that caught your eye (No top shelf of course) and invariably didn't by anything, not sure that happens nowadays.
