Hi all,

My Landy has a couple of well adhered brush coats of black over the original bronze green that I've tried to shift without damaging the original underneath. Green scourers and cellulose thinners, petrol etc. with plenty of elbow grease, neither does the pressure washer touch it. It's not thick paint so I wonder what others have had success with.  :cheers

Thanks Geoff. I had someone squirt brake fluid over an old Y reg Fiesta once. I'll give it a careful go.

Easy answer to this question.

Any one of the "strippers" behind the red Xwill work.
Just use plenty of water to neutralise the chemical(s) once you are down to your preferred coat.

... that and plenty of elbow grease.
