Just joined the club. I am on the look out for a series 2/2A 109 petrol truck cab project. I am after some buying advice. Just started searching and I have seen one advertised as a series 3 but it looks like it might be earlier. It was registered early Jan 71 but I am guessing it was built pre 71. Would this be a S2/2A?
Any advice or pointers gratefully received.

I might have just the vehicle available in a couple of weeks. Its been laid up for a couple of years (in covered storage), so I need to get it running ideally. If you are interested, maybe drop me a PM?

1971 could be Series 3 or 2A. Best confirmed by photos or a chassis number.
