I had Mayday cover with Green Flag from the Caravan Club, it was great because at the time I had 2 Humber Pigs & 2 Shorlands which were over weight with RAC & AA. Green Flag assured me that whatever the weight & it was privately owned & I was driving it there was cover.

When I sold the caravan & left the Caravan Club, Green Flag were quite happy to continue with the same cover at the same price. I continued with this until a couple of years ago after they informed me I would have submit a breakdown report via a phone app.

I was with the RAC for over 30 years as at the time they covered Myself, Wife and, Dad at a different address.
When they stopped this I actually looked and realised how much I was overpaying !
It can be a pain but I haggle every year now and make best use of cashback sites.
Almost always been with either RAC or AA. I find the smaller operators have too many exclusions or extra charges to navigate around.
I did spend two years with National Breakdown sometime in the '90's.
I broke down on way to Wiltshire from Liverpool, had RAC take me there. Joined N-B and they brought me back home !
Little dodgy may-be, but was alright. 😉
