Engine block - paint or not?

  All engines come painted, I would paint it.
I also paint every part I work on (if possible) it just makes for a nice professional looking job.

Thanks everyone for replies. I think I will repaint, particularly after hearing Exile's experience. I don't want it to go really rusty and look awful in a couple of years time.
