Insert for rubber moulding

Where are ppl getting the mettle inserts from? I ordered the rubber from Baines, been looking at banding, but It's way too expensive, and its hard to cut and drill

Dale Radford used to sell galv strip cut to fit. A bit hard to drill but excellent. I think I got someone to cut me ally strip (on Ebay) not expensive and easy to drill. The disadvantage is it is a bit too bendy and "bunches up" if you rivet to strip on too tightly. Dale or Carl 01346 531062

Hard to drill, easy to punch. Problem is the punching tools are not cheap.

This is the banding I used, 1/2" wide. I managed to buy it through ebay.

Haven't tried them but got to be worth a go at that price.

The similar ones from Frosts that I have are now £79!
