LWB - 11" TLS - Brake bleeding

Hi, I am trying to get the air out of my brakes and I have noticed that my bleed screws on the front are at the bottom, is this correct and would it not be harder to get the air out than it would if they were at the top, can't really see how the bleed screw can be fitted to the top, anyone came across this, it's a 1970 series 2a 109 ex military, many thanks

That's right as far as I know bud, people get all kinds of dramas bleeding them like this. I use a big syringe, hook it up, pull a big vacuum, then undo the nipple, to get a sort of pop of fluid as appears to a slow draw. Seems to get rid of that bubble that lurks at the top. There are loads of different techniques... finding one that works for you is the fun part. 🥴🥴🥴

Some folks reverse the wheel cylinders, input to bottom, bleed on top. Some folks park with a steep angle front end up then bleed.

If you take a look at the S3 manual it shows the modified way of doing it.
You can buy a pipe to connect the cylinders.
