Hi,

With Alan's permission ....

... I just came across this, assuming I can read my own handwritten notes ...

Updated guidance from Dept of Work and Pensions, on GOV.UK explains that if someone of State Pension Age receives Attendance Allowance, or the Middle or Highest rate component of DLA, PIP, or ADP, they may be entitled to extra PENSION CREDIT of £81 per week (£326 every four week period).[/b]

I have not yet researched it further than that.

Maybe Alan will know if both Barbara and myself can pass on to BENEDEN (he will know what I'm talking about) the cost of Barbara's daily bed-bath, and/or the cost of having MY daily shower with (personalised back wash), and OUR brekky, lunch and tiffin, all in bed.

602 (Who uses a long handled shoe-horn to pull his trousers and kex on, but cannot manage his own socks. I fell recently, with my little "tut" of a Carer being unable to lift my 100kg, so she had to drag me to the nearest convenient bit of furniture, so that I could pull myself up the "North Face" of my "hospital" bed).
