I'm in a quandry with regard to fixing my lovely new plates to Jo. The old fixing holes are offcentre at the rear and bolts through them would foul the digits on the new plates. The front holes originally held a rectangular type plate so once again aren't really suitable, so i'm left with the options of drilling 2/4 new holes for each plate or fixing them with sticky tabs (not very landrover!) What have you done?

Put rivets into the plate (off the vehicle) and then sticky pad it on? So you get the rivetted look without drilling new holes in the bodywork.

Where they rivetted or bolted originally?

Depended on the dealer, on my motor they were originally riveted now they are bolted.
