Good morning folk,

a bit of a survey here. The Allmakes spire nuts allow for a hole centre 14mm from the edge of the bulkhead and seat box floor panel lips, identical in dimension to sheradized ones from my favourite sheradized fixing supplier. Are other makes vastly different?

My footwell repair panels (one ribbed) from different suppliers have holes between 20mm and 16mm from their edges so I'll elongate the holes to suit. Its bit of a faff now that they're painted though my fault for not checking earlier.

I had that problem once.

I nibbled away at the rear edge of the footwell floor, so the spire nut could go on further, until the holes lined up.

Interesting.  My footwells have captive nuts.  Could it be that they're original and the replacements only have holes?

Who do you buy your sheradised bits from?
