Haynes Manual help!

Hi All,

I'm trying to find a Haynes Manual for a 2A 6 cylinder petrol 109 but cannot find one That includes it. 

Does anyone know if they did one?

If not, which would people recommend as a substitute?

  As far as I know Haynes never did a Landrover 6 cylinder help book.
 Land rover did add a supplement for the 6 cylinder forward control into the back of one of there shop manuals as seen in the
 picture. However it was not a lot of help when I rebuilt mine, very limited information.

  There are various interweb manuals out there if you search for them, a lot have to do with rover cars as they used the same engine. Who knows maybe there is a complete manual from landrover on the 6 cylinder, but I never found one.

It's covered in the official Land Rover workshop manual which is available to download from the members' section of the website or buy a paper copy.

Look to the Rover P4 saloon cars. Many had the 6-pot engine fitted (although with slight modifications from the ones fitted into Land Rovers.

I've already downloaded a few from website just really fancied a " go to" book for easy reading!

The Later P4 6 cylinder engine ( Used in the 95 & 110 )is very similar to the Land Rover one so the Haynes P4 one ,mentioned above, would give a reasonable basis for work but you would need to make sure one is refereeing to the correct one. Items like timing would need to follow the LR specification
