Unusual registration plate

Seen in Helston today, a modern mini with a rear plate ( white numbers on black) 23137.
I wonder where that hails from ?

Sounds like a Channel Islands vehicle or Isle of Man

In fact my money is on Guernsey as Jersey plates start with a J.

Isle of Man plates tend to have the letters ... MN or MAN or MANX somewhere on the plate.

Vehicles registered in Jersey have a "J" and up 6 digits on the plate.
