Anyone know what this is off 😇😇😇

Looks like a Rover car item. Maybe a P2 or P3. I am tempted to use a P4 one when I finally get around to swapping my wheel...

Definitely a Rover car. Too posh with its horn ring for a Land Rover.
Series 3 Owner but interested in all real Land Rovers.

It appears to have been home made. That brass badge in the middle is from a Rover hub cap, as used on P4s until the introduction of front disc brakes when the wheel rim and hub cap changed (I think around 1958 or so?). The same style badge was also, I think, used on P2s and 3s. You'll probably find it is a standard LR wheel centre underneath.

Top marks to Calum👍👍👍👍

I picked up the badge at a flea market for a couple of quid and as you suggested, I put an old horn centre in the lathe and turned a hole to suit so that the badge is flush.

I rather like it

Oh I thought you didn't know the answer. You mean you knew all along and I had to use my grey matter for nothing!? :))
