Is this the right windscreen seal?

Does any one know if this is the correct windscreen seal, it ties up with what I find out from the parts book, but should it be between the screen and frame, or between the screen and the retaining angle, or both sides of the screen?.

on all windscreens/glass i've took apart with retaining strips, it goes between the retaining strip and glass, then the dum dum stuff between glass and frame
