My lad's at the age where he gets pocket-money via a Saturday/after-school job.  Doing this sort of thing since he was about 9, he does the auto-electrical work at our local motorcycle dealer. The boss is glad to have him, he can't get capable staff at any price, and he pays well. Very well.

Anyways, this came in, made me laugh:

Customer says - "aftermarket headlamp not working..."

Some people shouldn't be allowed out unaccompanied.

No doubt your lad would soon get to grips with the vagaries of Land Rover electrics too.
Series 3 Owner but interested in all real Land Rovers.
"Being born was my first big mistake."
"Ça plane pour moi!"

That fright was found on a 'Hardly-David'. The standing joke has HD owners as dim.

The boy's capable - he strolls LR electrics -  it took a while before his boss could be convinced to take the boy on.

He's paid way over anything his friends get stacking shelves in Tesco etc.

More worryingly, if paying good money won't find able staff - the best option is a 16YO, in the broader sense where does that lead us?

I hope all the chocolate blocks went in the bin

At least they look like brass insert types. Better than Scotchloks?
