Seat belt shoulder mounts for a soft top?

Hi everyone,

I have a 1960 Series 2 down here in NZ, and I'm trying to get it back on the road. To do this I need to fit three point seat belts so it can pass inspection, and need to find a way to fit the shoulder mount to the vehicle without the roof on (I'm aware its very unsafe and it won't stay like that, I just need it that way to pass this inspection). I'm hoping to fit it to the body capping like this image below, which apparently has a bracket beneath it, behind/below the lip of the capping. I was wondering:

 1. Does anyone know the part number/where I could source these shoulder mount brackets?

 2. Can anyone provide proof in a part manual or similar showing Land Rover fitting seat belts here?

That is where Static belts were fitted by the factory.
Look in the optional extra manual.

I had a 1960 LR here in UK and belts /anchorages were not required when new , but LR did a kit of anchorages that bolted in the rear tub and corner of door frame . They are listed in the optional parts book available on  S2 club members web site . I bought the kit back in 1968 and fitted it and also the belts. I will have a look to see if  I still have the fitting instructions. ( now found & added ) The harness fitting instructions I had at the same time is dated Jan 1967 show an alternative shoulder mount in the top of the capping as per the OP picture

Perfect, thanks!

Seat belts weren't required until 1965 here, but they retroactively made it 1955 at some point in the 70s I think. Had mine stayed on the road the whole time it would have been fine without them, but as its been off the road it now needs them to go through re-compliance - just one of many headaches I need to sort!
