Hello,
Does anyone have or had the Camac CG110 tyres, or any "information feedback" on them. In the absence of any Traction Mileage, and these being approximatly the same price, without changing to 205R16s, I am thinking of getting these.

Vintage Tyres is well known in the tyre industry and is a reputable company and known for being able to obtain quality tubes so I don't think you'll have any problems. 7.00x16 is an odd size though.Presumably these tyres are designed for tubes. I've never heard of Camac tyres but I don't have the limitations of having to buy tubed tyres.

I used to run Camac about 25 yrs back, good tyre and hard wearing then ... now ... who knows  ???

I'd be happy to go with and trust Vintage Tyres

Certainly the inner tubes will be of excellent quality and worth the cost

That size was correct for 107" & 109", as the advert says.

They were difficult to find for a long time.

Unfortunately, the Camacs look a little too aggressive for Station Wagons, which in many marketing pictures had more of a road-biased tyre.

They are 10 ply, which means stiff side walls, a harsh ride, suitable for LWB carrying loads.  On my 7.00 x 16 12ply tyres I can reduce the pressure to 9 psi before the foot print starts to change.
