Towing jaw

When did the Series 1 type welded on towing jaw change to the later wrap around,
sturdier one piece one ? Thank you.

My sept '58 is very original and the hitch is the welded type. Of course, in 65 years a lot can happen. I have the list of E number options that it was ordered with but I don't know if one referred to a towing hitch
