Hi All, again.
Just started work on body work and others miscellaneous bits.

Sorry if this a dumb question.

Just curious to the original colour of things like steering box, throttle linkage supports, other   Metal bits in the engine bay & bits like seat rails. Mine have bits of green on (original body colour) over black in amongst the brown rust. Would they have originally been body colour or black?

Thanks,

geoff

As said by Geoff, gloss black for most things.
Pretty much anything that got shared to all vehicles would be black or natural, galvanised, sherardized, finish etc.

The only body coloured bits were the body panels, dash panels on pre-April 67 vehicles and the window wiper motor cover on post April 67 vehicles. Wheel colours were variable depending on body colour.
