Hi everyone, what is the law regarding displaying the old military registration, can you display it along with the DVLA registration, thanks

No - don't do it. Fine for display at shows, but definitely not on the public highway.

I have military "show" plates for the LWT. They just fit over the road plates with a couple of wingnuts.

This is the only picture I have of the fixings:-



Trouble is - you can forget to remove them after an event 

Once spent all day driving round Belgium on them and I've done it here a couple of times.
