OT The World Fair

Evenin' all,

resting in my local after a 12 mile cycle back from my Landy, I found four large collected newspaper volumes of "The World Fair", a monthly paper launched in 1904 to cover the doings of the travelling show community. Still going strong online in 2024, I shall order the June paper edition tomorrow to see how it compares to the January 2nd 1960 edition I was reading. The classified section was fascinating; talk of donkey jackets and 80 gallon drums of magnolia emulsion liquidated stock at £2 a barrel 😄
