Yesterday I noticed someone was struggling to fix a damaged thread on a speedo retaining nut.
I had a look in my bits today and have a brass one which I've checked fits on my speedo.
Now I can't find who it was who posted the problem so if you're still looking and haven't fixed your old one I have one you're welcome to

Hi Ken,

I posted yesterday about the knurled ali wheel on the instrument retaining clamp, wanting a die size so I could clean the thread. Was that it?

Yes, that was it. If you need a replacement for it you're welcome to the brass one I have here, knurled around the outer.

Thankyou Ken. That would be useful indeed. I'll send you a pm.
