My Dad sold his 2.6 yesterday to a lovely young couple from Gloucester. We told them all about the club so hopefully they may take a look around and get involved. 

My Dad just wasn't using it enough and fancies something a little more comfortable for the future.

On the plus side, we got a tiny little feature in this week's Classic Car Weekly magazine. A nice little send off of sorts!

Thats a shame, but Im really glad I got to see it at Malvern and at the NEC before he sold it. I do love a 109SW.

Millenia ago there was a 109 6 six pot station wagon around. I could tell by the sound it was a 6 pot. It came into the hands of my Land Rover dealing mate and ended up with a V8. The last time I saw it was in my rear view mirror when I trailered it a couple of miles round narrow country lanes to its new owner. No idea as to what happened to it.
It was a suffix K series 3.
Series 3 Owner but interested in all real Land Rovers.

Thank you Graham. The 2.6 sure was thirsty, but it really purred. I really do like that engine.

Funnily enough, my Dad used to own another 6 pot back in the 80's, though it was a standard 109". It was a late 2A on an H plate. As you can see, he fitted a bunch of Series 3 bits to it, as it was probably the style at the time!  :shakinghead
