Lucas DF41 Light

Is anybody familiar with this pre/post war Lucas 'King of the road' interior/dash/map light ? Does it require a separate switch,
or is it operated by turning the cover ? Thank you.

I have no familiarity but this page suggests it is a dash panel/map light & twist on/off...

Thank you for the link. I had a closer look and there is a very crude 'switching' arrangement. By rotating the cover a few
degrees the contact on the feed wire moves away from the bulb and opens the circuit. Not exactly one of Mr Lucas's master strokes.
