I think his price is high but if anyone in the vicinity is interested could be a good project.
I personally do not know the owner just posting in case anyone on the look out to buy one.

Had a quick look at the photos and regarding the Date of first registration being January 1975 long time after the Year of manufacture   1968 - As the rear Cross Member is straight - it looks like the Land Rover was originally in the Services / Military.

If the Land Rover was originally in the Services / Military in 1968 I thought that in the 60's all Services / Military Land Rover were Petrol.   So may be the 2 1/4 Diesel engine is a replacement?

Mycroft

One of our members owns a 1966 truck that's 2 away from this reg. Also registered in 1975. I wonder what the chassis number is.
1964 88" Canvas Top ACR Petrol
1979 88" Truck cab Petrol Series III

Exile

If it was built in 1968 it would have headlights in the middle, so either the front end is a replacement or it was built post March/April 1969.

The bonnet catches and rear crossmember do suggest ex-Military.
