Anyone know of slimmer seat backs?  I'm 6'3" so any ideas?  Bases are deluxe type. Or ideas about seat runners with more range?  I'm not cutting out the tub bulkhead.

You can raise the seats to give more leg room.
There are some runners made but you will have to search for them.

I removed the runners and velcro'd the seat base & basic backs to the seat box and bulkhead. Raising the seat does help for legroom but puts my eye level higher than the top of the windscreen....  Normal runners and seat in the Carwagon 109" are fine.

Instructions in the workshop manual on how to raise the front of the seat squab to increase legroom.  It doesnt change your view through the windscreen

I have a set of deluxe seats in new that I got from a bootsale some years ago and was thinking of asking a professional retrim service to take some of the foam out.

I am 186cm and it's difficult to see beneath the roof and I'd also like to improve the seating position re knees/legs.

I'm not sure it's worth the cost though as the seat bases are the pressed wood type which I'm not too fond of. So another plan would be to fabricate new bases first (as I did with my standard bases). Standard are flat, though, and deluxe are angled at the rear.

Copying them from leather would also be nice. So basically new seats as a thinner copy of the deluxe ones. I guess when I've progressed a bit further with my rebuild, I'll enquire about that.
