What you did in October with your Series 2 Land Rover

Replaced another clunking spring eye and chassis bush. Just for a change the bolts came out easily but the bush outer sleeve took some shifting to compensate!

Tightened the door tops so they close a bit better and topping up the battery ready for a drive tomorrow.
Feels a bit chic with the power supply matching the paintwork.

Dropped off the mystery machine at the garage, had a gorgeous drive through the hills. Lovely morning.
Left it in good company, a rough series 2 and a somewhat tortured 2b.

Looks like the 2b is on a 110 chassis, I spy coils.

1965 109" 200TDi with a 5 speed gearbox and 3.54 diffs.

Had refurbished, complete swivels fitted by my local independent.  The old ones were badly pitted and seal had gone.  Refurb. was done by Rick at Cumbrialrsolutions.

I'll take some pictures and ask some questions when I go back. Always thought the FCs were the prettiest land rovers.
