Malvern Land Rover, 4x4 and Vintage Spares Day, October 27th

I'm thinking of going,
will this be a good event with many series treasures on offer or should I not bother ???

It's a good event, not as big as the Newbury 4x4 Spares Day and there will be more Disco/coil sprung parts than series stuff. Usually a good display of series 1's and several 2's also last time.
I'm planning to have a stand, mostly series bits and pieces.

I normally try to get to all of the Malvern 4x4 Spares Days. As mentioned, they're a lot smaller than Newbury, but in a good way. You can have a good leisurely walk around all the stalls 2-3 times and still leave around lunch time.

Hard to say if there will definitely be a lot of Series spares for sale, but there are always some. At the Malvern 4x4 Spares Day in January my Dad and his mate put a big stall on - all Series bits, and sold most of it. They were very pleased! Hopefully there will be others having similar clear-outs!

Also, the Series 1 and Series 2 clubs normally have displays on the day  :cheers

I'll look out for your treasures, whilst Newbury is good its a long way for me and last time mostly coil sprung bits, I'll be in Tewkesbury for a few days around that time so not a long drive :RHD

I'm going down for it. I usually go, its worth a day out and the dog can have a run around the Malvern hills.

I went to Malvern with my daughter.  Good weather, excellent show/Auto Jumble with lots of series parts for sale, got a few bargains! & met a few people I knew.    A lot better than the last time I went a few years ago, must go again such a pity its a long way, 200 miles return!

I saw Steven Baldwin & Tom Pickford & Steve/Rhys from UnderCover Covers
But no Phill from Dunsfold & no Jon from Cross Channel Classics were missing

The reports indicate it was better than Newbury but it's a bit of a haul for me unfortunately. I'll have to stick to Newbury.

I went to Malvern also, had a great day and met up with a few old customers/freinds .
I met a club member from the local area and we had a great chat he sitting with a
Loverly 109 outside the shed doors,I think his name was Steve,
The weather was really good ,and the dog breeds paraded provided some good family entertainment with lots of smiling faces all around.
Kind regards to all,stay safe.
