I would just like to pass this on to any body unsure about the roamer overdrive
I took  delivery of my overdrive today direct from Canada  delivered via DHL
it took less than a week from order to delivery in the uk
The cost was £1985 inc delivery and insurance I did buy the Ali sump plate as an extra.
Tax paid separately via DHl was £400
That's it no other charges ...
Amazing service! And I'm fitting it tomorrow yippee!!!
Hope this helps someone!

So £2385 in total?
Good to know it was a smooth transaction. I did think about doing the same a few years ago when they were about $1500 Canadian dollars but instead plowed £500 into rebuilding a Fairey.

Congratulations! I'm confident that it's as strong as anything in the standard drivetrain.

I bought mine used (it's 20 years old, a first-generation model) and it's going well.

The extra cooling is a good idea.

Being in "Europe" but not the "EU", we here in Switzerland are accustomed to doing our own paperwork for importing stuff directly. You'll have to get used to this in the UK, post-Brexit.

Sometimes it's not as expensive as you might fear, nor as complicated.

Thanks for sharing landed costs and service levels you received. Appreciated.

Thank you for that information, it is really helpful as I am looking to order an overdrive unit.
