Taken on what my brother calls "the most boring lane in Derbyshire"  but it does look good when the heather is out.

Years ago we used it regularly when towing the trials vehicle to a local event. Using it to join up tarmac sections avoided some seriously steep hills.

Nowadays it has some deepish puddles but back then it was well graded gravel over which you could easily travel with the trailer at speed.

I was out retrieving a trail cam on a road that has seen a lot of damage the last few years from fire and storm.


This was the end of the road....
