Keeping it original

Sorry but just me again, as you all know I am trying to keep my series 2a 109 ex military as original as possible, my question is if I did put an original 2 1/4 petrol engine instead of the 2 1/4 diesel that's in it just now would that take it away from being ex military, hope this makes sense, many thanks

If it's ex MOD it would have been a petrol originally, but that original engine has obviously been replaced. The diesel is just as not original as any other petrol engine you would put back in if that makes sense! You would need an MOD spec engine, the timing case, water pump etc is different to standard too.
