Hi everyone
Does anyone know why my numberplate light has this extension block behind it. Should it be there or should I remove it?
Many thanks
Steve

Don't think it was ever standard on series 2.
I've seen some series 3 with it, not sure if original, but it's standard on a defender.

I Think that extension was put on to make the light illuminate the rear plate better

I have never seen that extension on a series 2a.

My S3 has one too. Possibly to reduce shadows cast with raised letter plates? ??? If I ever take the lamp off I'll probably remove the spacer, it does look a bit odd.
