OT - Garage WiFi

I use Devolo in the house as the WiFi isn't strong enough and I do quite a bit if sim racing that requires a totally reliable connection.

I added a number of additional Devolo plugs fairly recently (all bought from eBay) and picked up a couple that have WiFi built in. They create their own network(s) rather than just boosting you existing one, but this shouldn't be a problem. They cost me barely any more than standard ones too.

I've had somewhat limited success with their WiFi though - but didn't really pursue it as it was really just a bonus to the wired networking I really wanted but may prove useful at our next home.

I also use TP Link powerline adapters all over the house, summer house and the workshop.

They do work well. Not as quick as being connected directly to the Sky router but fast enough for music and Youtube streaming in the garage for entertainment.

Not expensive things either.
