Hello, thanks for accepting me, I have a 1967 station wagon 88, its a bit of a "Triggers broom" but it's mine! :cool

Show me an old Land Rover which is not a "Trigger's Broom"!

Right, I'm here.
Where's the bar?😁🍺

<<<<Can we get rid of that coat of arms, and let me have my little planet back please?

And by the way, did my 'spotted' thread survive the move?🤔

^^^ All that effort to hide and he's found us!

I'm sure Wittsend will do the necessary for you on your planet.

Your "Spotted" thread will remain as an archive on the old forum. We aren't migrating stuff across as there is just too much work involved. Why not start a new one on here?

Not sure about the bar though...

You can edit your profile and choose whatever avatar you wish within reason.

Nothing can be transferred from the old forum.

Back here again after a bit of a false start. Many thanks to all who beaver away in the dark recesses to rejuvenate our favourite forum.

Thank you Alan and the elves for your heroic efforts!
Just 1 question; are we still constrained by the size of our images to upload? 5 per post? ???

Finally got the chance to sit down and start going through the new forum.

Too bad the old stats and such couldn't of transferred over.

I have noticed that some of the avatars are larger than 65px by 70px, such as those used by Odd Job, Gunga Din, Paul4978 and a few others. How does one go about using a larger one?

Cheers!

Mpudi: So how did the land rover get up the tree?
Steyn: Do you know she has flowers on her panties?
Mpudi: So that's how it got up the tree.

As always I think I've missed something, not sure why I'm posting this but my membership number is 3140 as it seems many others are doing it :confused

and thanks for all the hard work in getting the forum up  :gold-cup
Used to be "oilstain" on old forum

John, Have now upgraded your account to S2C member status.

As you can see I/we have processed some 500 registrations. They have to be checked against our membership list. No doubt some have been missed.
Nor does it help when people use one email to register here and an another for their club membership  :thud

 :teacher
So to anyone who is a paid-up S2C member please put your hand up if we/I have missed you at registration.

Also noticing the differences, I tried to adjust mine. Waiting to see what reply you get because in the interests of equality, like you, I would also like a larger one.

You'll have to experiment.

We don't want massively large avatars as they distract from what's on the screen. On the other hand we need to see the detail. The "trick" is a balance between the two and choosing an image that looks good and clear when scaled down.
