Exhaust

Probably a silly question but I will ask anyway, is it ok to run the exhaust through the round holes that are in the chassis, is that what they are there for, thanks ps 1971 series 2a 109 petrol

The holes are there for a PTO shaft to the rear.

You will have to have pipes specially bent to fit through them and special mountings made.
