Hi all, I have this very small part left. Must be off gearbox. I rebuild a few months ago. Perhaps I've changed the part already? I don't know as I can't remember what I had for breakfast let alone all those months ago.

Any help with ID appreciated

Thank you

Is it an adjuster pin off a brake shoe?

I don't recognise that as a gearbox part...

The nearest I can get to that is: a short piece of pipe with an olive on it - maybe a scrap cut-off piece.

I can't recognise it either, I've rebuilt my fair share but not an earlier S2 Gbox previously. I think I shall just not worry about it.

it's a (very small) solid piece of round bar. Not pipe. Weirdly the one side (not photographed) is worn flat. It's probably a piece of scrap

maybe, I had a look through the parts book for the Gbox and TBox but saw nothing like it there. I'll have a look see if it looks like anything for the brakes

If it is an adjuster pin, it won't be in the book, they aren't supposed to come off, there was a batch of Mintex shoes a few years ago that didn't have the pins fitted correctly and they came loose.

Looks similar?

I knew I had seen it somewhere & I agree it looks like an adjuster pin  and the fact it has a flat worn on it seems to confirm that.
