Hi all,

I am wanting to sew a period correct accessory for my Land Rover.

To achieve this I need a few metres of Scottish Flax finished as a canvas duck.

Does anyone know of any leads in the textile world?

Cheers

I don't know if any of these products would be suitable? I think the flax comes from Belgium though! We now use the heavy flax for roofing wooden bodied railway carriages.

Flax

You can also get a range of cotton canvas materials as well.

Thanks both,

Some good options there, plus if I ever need LOTR themed fabric  I know where to go.

Will look closer to home.  It seems artist canvas for oil painting at the higher end is also Flax so some options there too.

Cheers
