Quote from: diffwhine on Aug 01, 2023, 09:37 AMMany moons ago, I agonised over buying a Cuthbertson. I did that for weeks before I saw sense. Given that I was living in Wimbledon at the time, it probably wasn't the best choice of vehicle.
Well, doesn't Wimbledon have grass courts?

The grass courts would be a definite no no, but there is Wimbledon Common I suppose. Not sure what the penalty is for flattening Wombles with a Cuthbertson...

:ditto ,I love my 2B f.c. but it has a 4.8 ltr merc engine and 5 speed gearbox  and power steering so probably not really representative. It also cruises at 55mph so similar to a normal series.

sadly I know nothing more about it was a random photo from the internet, no details :( I'd love to know more, it's a handsome beast in a quirky kind of way.

Coo! If that had been the one, I'd have had even less self (forward) control I suspect!

The one I've seen isn't going anywhere fast (see what I did there :cool ?) so I'm not rushing in.

Downside is that a/the fwd control thing has all the hallmarks of a when-not-if - the Caterham, S2A, unicycle(s) etc. all sat in my mind for years until the appropriate day came... :cheers-man

For what it's worth, I've been told that the 2A FC will publicly go live for sale tomorrow. Asking £30k...

I'll post details when they are live.
