Spotted this rather distinctive Series 2 while parking in Bristol earlier today.

According to my daughter it was bronze green until quite recently.

Intriguing... I wonder what the link is with easyJet. Also what are all the gold animal ornaments all about?

An interesting solution for a leaking canvas 😂

It looks like a new canvas. I'd suggest its more likely to keep bird poo off.

I actually do the same with my series one which lives outside 24/7, it an attempt to make rubbish modern canvas hoods last longer. Mine stay damp on the taped seams and rot. I also think it's an attempt to stop that newish black tilt from fading 🙂

I think the gold ornaments are bees, perhaps owned by a bee keeper, hence the trailer for moving hives about🤷

That looks like a tiger on the LHF wing and on the radiator panel they look like fish. Also to the right of the vehicle on the sign is something that looks like an iguana. The plot thickens, but perhaps I should be doing more with my life on a Sunday morning.

There appear to be weird happenings in Bristol. Mind you, for Bristol, that's quite normal... My daughter lives there and every visit is an eyeopener.

If that's the original registration number WV was a Wiltshire registration.

It could well be original_ UWVxxx regs were issued from Nov'59 to Apr'60 and the DVLA reckons the Landrover was registered in Nov'59.

Last V5 was issued in May'24, for a colour change perhaps?

What does the green sign on the wall say?
Something like 'Making the most that ??? precious two acres ??? South west'

Too blurred to read properly.
