Collecting my leaf blower from the local garden machinery (owner drives an immaculate Defender) this working Series 2a came barrelling in. Used every day as originally intended
Looked immaculate from a distance although the owner assured me he painted it with a roller

In an episode of Midsomer Murders  I've just finished watching  (yes, I know) was a Series 3 "County" truck cab with a safari roof on the cab. It had obviously been converted from a Station Wagon as it still bore the county stripes.
Looks a bit odd. Registration number illegible unfortunately but it must have been originally a late brown one.

I had the opportunity so really don't know why I did not take more pic's but here are 3 of the RangeRover.

They where correct way up when I previewed. Honest !

Spotted on last night's 'Out of town' (talking Pictures Freeview channel 82) interesting double rear windows and door mounted mirrors. The DVLA tax checker isn't working at present - so can't check if it's still on the road. YBL273.

Apparently it's an untaxed red 1961 3300cc Land Rover. Last V5 issued in 1992.

used to be about 6 series land rovers lined up in that pub car park

This Series 1, one of several vehicles left abandoned following a roof collapse at a Railway Arch type garage in Liverpool.
A nice looking P5B in amongst them.
Apparently recovery not viable due to potential further collapse. ☹️
